Comet alumnus, Ron Sisler, passes away

SAN MARCOS, CA (8/29/2020) -- Ron Sisler, a Palomar Baseball alumnus, was killed Thursday afternoon when he was hit by a falling tree branch while out walking in Valley Center. Sisler was an outfielder for the Comets in the mid-80s before transferring to Bingham Young University. He was currently serving as head coach for Classical Academy in Escondido where he led the Caimans to a 29-5 record in 2019.

Sisler was 54 years old. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family during this time.
