Dickson picks up PCAC Athlete-of-the-Month honor; Soltero named Honorable Mention

SAN MARCOS, CA (10/15/2019) – Sydni Dickson was honored as one of the PCAC Athletes-of-the-Month for September.

From PCAC Release – Dickson has been a force for the Palomar women's water polo team and had a sensational September when she netted 29 goals and 21 assists in nine games.  She had seven goals against Fresno City (9/27) and five against both Rio Hondo (9/7) and Santa Monica (9/27).  Dickson is currently fourth in the state in total goals (56) and has Palomar right in the hunt in the race for the PCAC title as the Comets are 8-6 overall and 2-0 in PCAC play.

Arturo Soltero picked up an Honorable Mention as well. Soltero has seven goals on the season and is second in PCAC play and has five assists and is in first place in PCAC play. Soltero has two game-winning goals this season. In two conference games, Soltero has started both games and has one assist. Soltero is a sophomore from San Pasqual High School in Escondido, CA and his previous college is Taft College.
