San Bernardino Valley shuts out Comets in 3-0 game

SAN MARCOS (10-31-2017) -- Pacific Coast Athletic Conference leader San Bernardino Valley College invaded Minkoff Field on Wednesday and departed with a 3-0 conference victory over Palomar.

The Comets got off three shots on goal against the Wolverines, by Anthony Lew, Miguel Valladolid and Ronny Rubio. Cole Carter played the full 90 minutes in goal and recorded one save.

Fred Zaragoza recorded two goals for San Bernardino Valley, both in the second half, off Noe Granillo's assist in the 65th minute and off assists from Tony Vallejo and Victor Garcia in the 70th minute.

The Wolverines had taken a 1-0 halftime lead on Granillo's unassted goal in the 21st minute.
