Palomar teams with Cuyamaca to win PCAC Match Play title

SAN MARCOS (10-18-2017) / TEMECULA (10/23/2017) -- Palomar's women's golfers Abby Corona, Michelle De La Cruz Luna, Victoria Owings and Vandella Lunde teamed with Cuyamaca to defeat a team of College of the Desert and Mt. San Jacinto golfers 10 1/2 to 5 1/2 to win the inaugural Pacific Coast Athletic Conference Match Play Team Championships that concluded a two-day run on Monday.

The match play was decided last Wednesday at St. Mark Golf Club in San Marcos and Temecula Creek Inn Golf Course.

Cuyamaca is in first place in the PCAC as the regular match season winds down.

Next match for conference teams is the PCAC finals next Monday and Wednesday, Oct. 30 and Nov. 1, at St. Mark Golf Club.
