Palomar downs SD Miramar 14-1 in PCAC men's water polo

SAN MARCOS (10-11-2017) -- Palomar's men's water polo team has been on-again, off-again on the total season, but the Comets returned to Pacific Coast Athletic conference play by playing a statement game on Wednesday afternoon at Wallace Memorial Pool.

The Comets powered past visiting San Diego Miramar 14-1 to even their conference record at 1-1. Palomar is 5-13 overall.

Dylan Vanm Horn and Toby Fast led the Comets, each scoring two goals and passing off for two assists. John Pearce also tallied two goals.

Tommy Preston led Palomar in assists with three. Bryce Van Camp and Terrin Davis each added a pair of goals.

On the season, Van Horn leads the Comets with 30 goals. Bryan Rhoads has 29 goals and Davis has scored 25 goals.
